Jeff Gershowitz is the General Counsel of Exela Technologies. He is responsible for guiding Exela’s public company governance and reporting, helping implement the Company’s corporate strategy and compliance across the globe, and managing the Company’s legal department. Mr. Gershowitz joined Exela in 2019 and has almost 30 years of experience as a corporate attorney, both in-house at public companies and at leading law firms. Prior to joining Exela, Mr. Gershowitz served as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Edgewell Personal Care Company, a NYSE-listed leading pure-play consumer products company, from 2015 through 2018. At Edgewell, he was responsible for a variety of corporate legal matters, including helping to oversee its separation from Energizer Holdings, Inc. in the transaction that launched Edgewell as a standalone public company. Mr. Gershowitz served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Terex Corporation, a NYSE-listed global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products, from 1999 to 2015, where he was responsible for an extensive range of legal matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gershowitz was an attorney with the law firms of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. Mr. Gershowitz received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Case Western Reserve University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
