Mission

Exela Technologies is committed to providing a workplace where health and safety risks are properly managed and environmentally sustainable practices are employed. As a location-agnostic global business process automation (BPA) leader, Exela is keenly focused on the importance of sound environmental practices and safe work procedures. We pledge to provide our employees with the necessary tools, processes, procedures, and training to properly implement an effective Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability Management System.

Guiding Principles

Exela is a global company that conforms to environmental laws, regulations, standards and other requirements globally. Exela requires that employees’ and suppliers’ performance go beyond basic compliance to achieve our goal of zero accidents and minimal environmental impact supporting sustainable growth.

Exela’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability Policy establishes accountability through the implementation of best practices in every location.

EHS and Sustainability policies and action plans include:

  • Injury and Environmental Incident Reporting, Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning
  • Employee Safety Huddle Meetings and Dedicated Communications on Environmental Issues
  • Job Hazard Analysis Program Development and Maintenance
  • Documented Hazard Inspections and Corrective Actions
  • Employee Awareness Development through Required Postings
  • Integrating Environmental Requirements into the Procurement Process Training and Orientation

Employees are responsible for exercising their Stop Work Authority if they recognize or suspect a hazard that may reasonably be expected to result in an accident or adverse environmental impact during any task they perform or observe. Exela will not tolerate any reprisals for exercising this authority in a responsible manner. Employees are also encouraged to examine practices and methods to ensure our operations are conducted in a sustainable manner.

Employees are accountable for their personal EHS and Sustainability performance. It will be an element taken into consideration regarding continued employment.

All levels of Exela management must reinforce the required elements of our EHS and Sustainability policy and maintain regulatory compliance within business plans, budgets, proposals and service agreements.

Exela values the safe and effective performance of each employee, every day. Our goals are to have our employees go home without injury and to promote services that are environmentally sustainable at all times.
